Laurentian Pottery Canada Small Lidded Sugar Crock Jar

US$210.00

A charming, highly collectible small lidded stoneware crock, attributed to Laurentian Pottery (La Poterie Laurentienne), Quebec, Canada, based on the partially legible impressed “LP” mark within a circle on the base (worn but consistent with documented Laurentian identifiers).

This piece features a creamy, speckled stoneware body with warm brown, hand-applied botanical/wheat motif and tasteful splatter accents—an iconic look for Canadian rustic pottery.

The compact cylindrical form with pedestal foot and fitted lid makes it especially desirable as an authentic sugar crock / jam pot / tea caddy for a styled countertop, pantry shelf, or curated pottery collection.

Provenance

Rustic Mid-Century / Canadian Country • Farmhouse / French Country / Cottagecore / Primitive / Organic Modern

Authenticity & Construction

High-fired stoneware with a naturally speckled clay body and hand-decorated surface. The brushed motif and splatter detailing create subtle variation from piece to piece—part of the collector appeal.
