Edelstein Bavaria Porcelain Handled Server, Germany, c. 1928–1945
A refined interwar Bavarian porcelain serving platter by Edelstein, executed in luminous white porcelain with restrained, hand-painted botanical ornament and original gilt detailing. The composition is intentionally minimal—delicate sprays in soft celadon green, blush rose, and warm ochre float across the field, allowing the purity of the porcelain body to remain the visual focus.
The elegant oval form is framed by integrated molded handles and a fine gold rim, elevating it beyond utilitarian tableware into formal service porcelain. The gold remains bright, with only light, honest softening consistent with age and careful use.

This piece represents elevated export-grade Bavarian porcelain from a respected German manufacturer during a pivotal decorative period.
STANDARD ATTRIBUTION & VALUE DISCLOSURE
This piece is described to the best of current scholarly and market knowledge. Any maker or regional attribution is based on visual analysis, materials, construction techniques, and documented stylistic comparisons. As with many vintage and antique porcelain objects, definitive attribution may not be possible without original factory documentation. Pricing reflects condition, quality, decorative appeal, and current collector demand rather than a guaranteed maker identification.
